DPI : WEEK 12
LECTURE
Mr. Fauzi gave a lesson today on double exposure. Double exposure is the process of combining numerous photographs in order to generate an unusual visual effect.
At first glance, the double exposure effect seems to be sophisticated. However, it is simple to create both in-camera and in Adobe Photoshop. You don't need a double exposure camera to generate these effects; there are a couple more methods you may use instead.
Example of Double Exposure |
Double exposure may be used to demonstrate a variety of phenomena, including: |
Tilt-Shift Effect
Fake reflection
Simple portraits and
details textured
Black & White
Silhouette
Random Picture
Simple objects look fascinating
Shadow
Not only that i also learned that working with blend modes is usually always an iterative process that requires trial and error. For this reason, it is virtually hard to forecast the outcomes, and you always tend to wind up playing with various modes and Fill Opacities until you get exactly what you are after.
These are the blend modes in photoshop :
PRACTICAL
During the practical class, Mr. Fauzi inquired as to our progress on our project, and we were required to give our concepts as to how we want to carry it out and why we are following the topic. When I presented my proposal, I received favourable comments from my instructor, who advised that I make some tweaks to my layout.
