PERSUASION (PARACHUTE)
Opinion:
People nowadays are unable to get enough sleep
because to their busy social and work schedules, so the parachute came up with
a stunning and heartfelt commercial to remind them how important it is to have
enough sleep every night to stay healthy and productive. I admired their
ability to persuade people throughout the campaign. Their advertisements were
brutally clear, yet at the same time they conveyed a feeling of simplicity
while elevating the advertisement in the public's mind. There was just one
image in the commercial, and it showed someone just waking up in the morning.
Copy Strategy:
An excellent example of the 6P or Wheel of
Persuasion in action is the Parachute advertisement. A lot of people could
relate to the content that the parachute generated. In their message, they were
implying that who hasn't pushed the snooze button and said, "just five
more minutes?" Parachute is actually encouraging people to spend more time
sleeping in their beds, according to the company. Everyone enjoys a good
night's sleep. They were very convincing until their product became well
recognised as a result of the advertising campaign that they conducted.
Sincerity be told, it was an effective strategic use of the persuasive method
in their campaign.
