LECTURE

Mr. Ahmad continued to teach Dreamweaver in today's class so that we would be able to create the website for our next project with the skills we've learned so far. His lecture class included instructions on how to insert a table as well as an explanation of why it is necessary to have one. In addition to instructing us on how to insert tables, he also provided a tutorial on how to add cell padding to each column of the table in order to avoid having the table's edges touch. In addition, I discovered that we have the ability to resize each of the columns as well as the overall width. We were told over and over again by him that we shouldn't resize the pictures in Dreamweaver because the pixels in the pictures would drop. He then provided us with a solution and instructed us to resize and edit the pictures in Photoshop instead.

Afterward, Mr. Ahmad continued to teach us how to start our pages from the edge of the website in order to make them look neater and more appealing. He then went on to teach us how to combine columns in a table. He then instructed us on how to use Dreamweaver at an advanced level. When he told us that it was time for us to learn how to use Dreamweaver in its entirety, I was a little intimidated. But, as he was teaching, I realized that I had been overly concerned about nothing because the task wasn't difficult if we understood the underlying concept. Forms and the text box were introduced, and we were taught several different methods for resizing the text box by our instructor. Aside from that, he continued to teach us how to customize the font type used in the input text box to our liking as well. Finally, he taught us how to link our index file to our local site folder at the conclusion of our lecture class.

After all is said and done, today's class was extremely informative because I gained knowledge about coding as well as how to work with Dreamweaver. I had a good time and was pleased with the overall outcome of today's class. I honestly believe that I will do an excellent job on the upcoming project.
