McDonald's Ad (USP)



Opinion:

In my opinion, the advertisement is very creative and straightforward, and at the same time, we, as consumers, understand what the advertisement is attempting to communicate. A series of advertisements featuring mailboxes in the shape of your favourite McDonald's food illustrates this as well. However, it remains to be seen whether or not these mail slots will be used in practise.

Copy Strategy:

This advertisement is not only promoting their delivery services during the current pandemic, but it is also promoting their delivery services that were already in place before the pandemic occurred as well. They are also attempting to promote their service and encourage their customers by informing them that their favourite meals are still available for takeout, delivery, and drive-in service during the pandemic and after it has ended. Because, for the time being, our home is the safest place to eat our favourite meal, which happens to be McDonald's. The consumer can also consider the significant emphasis placed on how convenient it is to have food delivered right to their doorstep by simply remaining at home and consuming their favourite meal. Not only that, but I liked how they kept their design in the ads to a bare minimum, which was refreshing. And portrayed what they desired to convey to their target audience in order to reach them.
